Job Title: Careers Advisor

An FE College in Stockport is seeking an experienced Careers Advisor for an immediate start. This is a temporary 8‑week placement, working 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide impartial careers guidance to FE students
• Support learners with progression routes, CVs, and job/education applications
• Deliver one‑to‑one guidance sessions and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with curriculum and student support teams

Requirements:

• Relevant careers guidance qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience working with young people in an FE or education setting
• Strong communication and organisational skills

This role is ideal for a qualified Careers Advisor available at short notice.
